I would like to change Article Category in Blog format in such a way that

(i) there is no ‘feature’ article with a coloured background and larger font size
(ii) all articles appear the same thumbnail size
(iii) all articles have the same font size in heading

An image is attached showing the desired outcome.

You login backend > Menus > magazine > edit Event Info menu item > set #Leading is 0 (at Parameters (Basic) section)
