If you are new to Joomla, I highly recommend you use Quick-start package, this will helps your site looks like demo site with template + extensions installed and available to be used. and check out our userguide for this JA Zite template for more info.

Hi,
I installed Quist-Start, but when the instlalation arrives to stp 4 (create a Database) it display an error in Db population.
the Db is correctly created and the Db name and the userid are corrects.
if I access to Db via PHO Admin, the tables are created. I dropped all the db and tried again, but with the same result.
Do you have, please any suggestion?? I’m stopped.

Hi Stefano,

How did you install this quickstart package? please follow these steps:

– Download quickstart zip file and upzip to your web folder
– Create a fresh database
– Install sample data

If you did above steps, please paste the error here so that I can check it for you.

Ok, Thanks.
I unzipped quick-start file, transfered via filezilla on ma personal web server.
I created. Ex novo the DB: 6837_test
Then I start the installation.
Step 4: I filled the form with the db nane, user and password.

Tris is the error:

Which version of PHP are you using? Is the DB: 6837_test a fresh one?
