Hi!
Why is the width set to 50% ?

.items-leading .item-ct {
width: 50%;
padding-right: 24px;
}

I try to set it to one column and see only the "50%", not the full width.
I change it in a custom css to 100% width, everything is fine.
Is this okay?

Hi
Yes its okay , if you do not want the pre-build design , the width is set to 50% due to design concept to show the content and image on same view .
