All,
I am trying to add a rotating image at the top of my body in this template, but notice that there isn’t a body module position so where would I put it?
According to the template diagram there is a body module position but I do not see it as an option in joomla backend???
Any thoughts??

January 20, 2009 at 4:14 am #287189Hi dlynn87,
If you go to Extentions/Templates, and ope ja-fagus, you can preview the module positions, and you will see there that the body actually is not a module position.
If you want to still have a module position there, you would have to add your own. There have been a few threads on this topic in the past. Here are a few of them:

January 20, 2009 at 4:20 am #287191This is the way it is in Joomla in general, not just this template. There is a body/content area for posts, whereas the modules are the containers for other assigned content. It can be a bit confusing at first, but…once you get used to it, it makes perfect sense.

January 20, 2009 at 4:39 am #287202It does make sense. Also there are a lot a vorious designs in the templates, and JoomlArt has so many various layouts that if you don’t like one you should try to find another that has the modules in the positions that you want. maybe it would be worthwhile to look at other templates and see if you find something more suitable there before you try to add modules on the Fagus template. But Fagus is nice, and a bit different from others. What you can do also is to add modules in left or right that only show up on certain pages so that each page or article will have different modules, like a slideshow, that shows diffrerent pictures depending on the page that is shown.
I tried something like that with Ja-fagus in http://www.jonas-christy.com
