Some on my blog section pages have bold typeface in the body text. I don’t know why, there are several {strong} tags where I haven’t put them.

I have checked the HTML and everything seems OK. No strong tags at all.

Attached is the image to better illustrate the problem.

Now, I’m not sure if the problem could be in template>html>component>section>blog.php or in
template>html>component>category>blog.php

Any ideas?:confused:

Does anyone know how to eliminate those bold letter from my news body text. Hainn84 ccheked the site with Fire Bug and noticed (as I said earlier) some <strong> tags along the text, but i have not placed those tags anywhere!

In the HTML window, those tags don’t exist….I need to clean this up ASAP.

Have you writed the text in in the editor of Joomla or did you write it in notepad or something?

I wrote the text in a notepad and then, pasted it into the Joomla editor.

Try to write it all in notepad, and turn off the WYSIWYG editor and the paste the text/code in.

Menalto- If I turn the default editor (TinyMCE2.0) off, i get a blank page where I can not write or paste any text.

What else could I do?

You should get a blank field where you can type/paste text……… Can you take a screenshot of it?

I did what you recommended and I got the same bold boby text.

I think the problem is related to the blog.php itself, because if you visit this link: http://revista.libroalibro.org/noticias?start=5 you will notice that the text in the video box and the footer are bold too.

UPDATED INFO:

If a publish those news in bold in the front page, the text DOES NOT APPEAR in bold. What could be causing this problem.

I really need to fix this. As Chris said in another thread, we chose JA Teline because of its magazine format, but with so many problems (aka: bugs) is better to move on.

I Have go to admin and try to do some solutions but don’t solve the problem , this is strange problem, in html of those article don’t have “<strong> </strong>” tag , but when display on frontend <strong<</strong>” is auto insert to content.
I think you try to create a new article with content is same with old content ( please fill content by hand don’t copy old html and paste to new article)
