    Hi,

I have some problems when implementing a quiz on a JA-Sugite website (on J3.4.1 with all components up to date).
I built different quizzes with JoomPlace Quiz which work on Firefox but not on Safari.
I used Debug and I also asked JoomPlace to look at it. JoomPlace replied me:

“…At the moment we can’t check the issue on your site, as there are .js errors that break the quiz.
    Please see screenshot below:
    http://gyazo.com/c113de2fb35c50c80b4feaf43289ae08

Quiz Deluxe functions on ajax and is sensitive to errors on the site. The errors come from your template, indicating that the template is trying to load bootstrap, which requires jquery version higher than the one that you have.
You need to change jquery version in your template to address the errors. …”

Can you please let me know how to update the template with the right jQuery version?
When logged on, one example of problematic quiz (visible on Safari and not in Firefox) can be seen at:
    http://insist-project.eu/index.php/en/resources/insist-badges/quizzes-on-open-badges?view=quiz&quiz_id=2
a small green arrow at the right bottom of the text should appear to start the quiz.

    Thanks in advance
    yves
(a ticket has also been posted)

I spent a lot of time to debugging the problem on your site and this is not bug from our product

+ Our template uses jQuery default from JOOMLA core with jQuery v1.11.2(http://insist-project.eu/media/jui/js/jquery.min.js)

+ JoomPlace Quiz uses jQuery v1.9.1but you can see the customisation in that file: http://insist-project.eu/components/com_joomlaquiz/assets/js/jquery-1.9.1.min.js, see the screenshot

I just helped to fix the problem on JoomPlace Quiz component, now you can see it’s working fine

    Thank you.
I still have the same problem on my side (the quiz doesn’t work when there is a need to be logged in and it works when it is with guest access).
I will liaise with JoomPlace as well with your present feedback. if you have any other idea, please feel free.
    Regards

    edition of the text above:
In fact I also had to reboot my computer. and then the site is working well. So, apparently the call to the various versions of js was disturbing as well on the computer (even after cleaning the cache of the browsers).
    Thanks

    Hi Gameroot,

in fact I liaise with Joomplace support and they were solving the code on their side after giving them admin access. I think they included the change in a new version afterwards. I don’t have the details of the modification of code they did.

    Hi there
You can use search string to locate where is jQuery ( old version ) located.
    And comment / remove that.

Or ( bad way ), replace old jQuery file by same jQuery version ( which one used by T3 ) code.

In basically always make sure site only have one jQuery instance loaded.

And another thing. Please create new topic with issue detail. Each topic should be owned by only one user.

    Thank you,
