September 19, 2011 at 5:30 pm #413661Hi,
did You made some overrides to mod_breadcrumbs in HTML folder of the template or any of the core or local themes?
If not please make sure You are using latest version of the template and JA T3 v2 plugin.
Regards

I didn’t make such changes that i’m aware of, tried different components such as search, gallery and extplorer, made some changes to css, images and articles. Fixed cat. blog layour from section link , not more…
I checked the template version, rather strange it says i’m using 1.0 while lastest is 1.2.5, update gives a permission error (see screenshot). I downloaded and installed the quickstart about a month ago. I can’t imagine im actualy using 1.0. Any clue what do do now? not so keen on upgradeing had a lot of work on the website.

September 19, 2011 at 10:14 pm #413724You simply need to update your template using the extensions manager. This should not affect you edits but if it does you can simply roll back. The permissions message is simply telling you that you have not yet entered your account information in the extension. Go to the services manage from the menu on the left of that page and edit the Joomlart Updates item. In ther put the same username and password that you use to login here. Save your settings and you will now be able to use the update manager to update your template.
September 19, 2011 at 10:50 pm #413728Doh!!! Didn’t notice something really stupid. I made a bigger logo, the bottom is transparent and lays on top of the breadcrumbs, so obviously instead of clicking on the breadcrumbs, i was actually clicking on the logo with home link… *hits head against the wall*
sorry for wasting your time!
September 19, 2011 at 11:24 pm #413738About the updates: framework, tabs and some others updated ok. The template update hangs. Processing. Please wait.
I see it changed the logo and read more button, so it has done something. When I refresh the update page its still on 1.0, Rollback also hangs but puts logo and readmore button back again.
Any idea why update is failing?

September 19, 2011 at 11:43 pm #413745verify you’ve entered your credentials in the services tab. and that JAE is updated before you update anything else. SOMETIMES you need to update JAE the normal way first, but this is rare.
September 20, 2011 at 12:09 am #413755Updated JAE via normal download and also via JAE itself. No luck, still hangs.
What I find really strange is thats my template is on ver 1.0 I download the quickstart a moth ago how can that be?

September 20, 2011 at 6:33 am #413812The reason it is hanging is simply because of write permissions. The script is trying to write to files in the template folder but is unable to. Simply make sure all the files and folders in your templates directory are writable and you should be able to complete the upgrade.
As for the template being only a month ld that is correct. A lot of additional work has been done on that template in such a short time.
