August 1, 2011 at 7:40 am #403905To fix the footer layout
Add this code to your template.css file in this path /templates/ja_business/css/template.css
#ja-navhelper table {
width:25%;
float:left;
}

August 1, 2011 at 7:58 am #403911Out of interest have you used a custom html module for your menu in that position? The code I posted above would have worked if you had used a standard Joomla menu module. Simply create a new meu with your links then publish a menu module in that location with the suffix as per my post above. Chavans post would correct it if you have used a custom html menu.

Phill, this is exactly what I did: a standard Joomla menu. This is not a custom code menu. The custom code menu il located on top but the footer one is a standard one.

August 1, 2011 at 8:27 am #403919Phill,
mandig has chosen the Menus style as “Legacy – Horizontal” for the Footer Menu
Thats why the code of menu is in “<table>”
So my earlier suggestion will work on that issue.

August 1, 2011 at 8:49 am #403927I didn’t know that was possible with J1.6/7. I hought the legacy menus had been dropped hence the suggestion to use an li. Where can that be selected in J1.6 or is he using J1.5? Could he not just switch to a style that uses the list element rather than a table?

Chavan,
I’ve choosen that menu type just to check if it was the cause of the problem because I tried all of the and the result was the same.
Please feel free to change it.
Thanks

Phill,
I’m using Joomla 1.5 and, as I wrote to Chavan, I’m using lists every time.
In this case I just made a try to understand if that was the problem but you can freely change it back to list.
Thanks
