    Hi,

    I installed the Brisk Quickstart but since I felt it was very slow I took a look at my apache error log and found this:
    File does not exist: /var/www/helsexpert.dk/component
    File does not exist: /var/www/helsexpert.dk/component
    File does not exist: /var/www/helsexpert.dk/component
    File does not exist: /var/www/helsexpert.dk/component/k2
    File does not exist: /var/www/helsexpert.dk/component

    I guess something is wrong since I have no /component directory only /components
    Where should I look for the error to correct this?

    Thank you for your help
    John

    Hi John,

    I have received your pm and checked the problem on your site but I’m not quite sure what modifications you have done upon your installation, currently on your site only HOME page and empty data, I can help you re-install on your site with quickstart package and sample data. Please confirm me about that.

    There is nothing wrong with the site, there was no modification only quickstart installed with no data.

    K2 installation did the problem under quickstart with no modifications – you have to search for the problem in your own code.
    My apache server stopped responding so I had to remove K2 to solve the problem.

    Apparently your designs does not work with K2 because I found the same problem with JA_university (Quickstart with no modifications)
    Please DO NOT make further logins to my server, re-install will not do the trick and I can do it my self anyway.

    I can not confirm

    I’m sure with you that JA Brisk Template does support K2 Component: http://www.joomlart.com/forums/topic/user-guide-ja-brisk-template-for-joomla-2-5/

    JA University Template also works well with K2 component: http://www.joomlart.com/forums/topic/user-guide-ja-university-template-for-joomla-2-5/

    You can find customize about K2 component and style css on JA Brisk here
    <blockquote>
    With html structure
    templates/ja_brisk/html/com_k2
    templates/ja_brisk/html/mod_k2_comments
    templates/ja_brisk/html/mod_k2_content
    templates/ja_brisk/html/mod_k2_user
    templates/ja_brisk/html/mod_k2_users

    With css file
    templates/ja_brisk/css/k2.css
    </blockquote>

    You can reference user guide I include above and work with JA Brisk Template.
