The left module (containing menu elements, etc.) is pushed to the bottom of the page, i.e. below all content (see attachment/screen shot) in every page.

I’m using IE6, some things to note:

1.) Demo site is fine in IE

2.) site based on downloaded template is broken in IE

3.) site based on downloaded template is fine in Firefox

What modules are you using in the columns?

    I had the same problem.

the way i did was unpublish all modules in left and right columns

then start adding them one at a time

ie for example whosin online on the left , poll on the right.

it worked correctly. then added more.

some may have bad css which causes to break

i found that acajoom, magazine modules and other just break the template and css needs to be fixed i guess in those modules.

Hi growerspro, thanks for the tip. The only module, other than the main menu that I had published in that position was the VirtueMart module. I did unpublish it and the problem went away – publish it again and its back.

it worked with the following options set in the html template

    option ja_menutype to 3
    option $ja_tools set to 3

if you chose another ja_tools , it breaks the templates, seems to be a bug there.

it breaks as well is you choose ja_menutype = 4 , it does not work . seems to be a bug in the css

    see example of working template

I have the same problems as others – the page breakes. Am using IE6 and Joomla 1.0.12.
I have tested all the ideas in this forum but all in vain. However, I discovered that:

    • using “Main menu” at left column (visible at All pages)
    • ja-news in center column (in the ja-news position, visible at All pages)
    • polls at right column (visible at All pages)

would render OK in all other pages EXCEPT for the home page. It sounds to me that the problem is with the home page but why??? Someone has an idea?

    Hi all,
It should be better if you could provide your live site url. With your live site, we could duplicate the problem and have information to give you some help.

I also have this problem…. With the ja-news module, the left menu breaks and goes to the bottom.

    I have IE6…

Hope there will be a quick solution..

    thanks,

    To muyay0:
I suggest that you should wait for JA Xenia II which will be fully compliant with Virtuemart. Xenia II will release in 2 days.

To sahertian: I cannot guess what happen with your site. Please provide more detailed information as muyay0 does.
