    Hi.
My site appears perfectly with firefox, chrome and safari but there is a problem with opera.
Please take a look at http://www.metrica.gr
If you use Opera you will see that the footer appears on the bottom of the page, apart from the rest of the template.
Also VM-cart module appears wrong with ie8. It is correct only in compatibility mode.
Is there a fix for these issues?

    Thank in advance

Hi, I was interested to see what the answer was to this problem, as I too had some problem with Opera. Ja developer says there is a fix. If so, would that be something worth sharing with the rest of us.

This thread says “answered” but I don’t see the answer here. If there is an answer could it be posted for the rest to see as well? Thanks!:)

Click on the name of the sender, in this case JA Developer, and once on that page you will see a drop down menu, send message, and you can select send private message to Ja developer.

    Hi
I’ve changed the “Answer” status of the subject because I considered as not answered.
The solution given wan not aestheticaly correct, so I had to reverse it to the previous state.
Now ti still has the same problem. In Opera doesn’t appear correclty.
I still hope to a better solution.:)

    Hi aanton,

I’m sorry I can’t help with the answer either, but her is the site I did using Ja-Fagus.

    http://www.jonas-christy.com

I was looking at it in Opera too, and noticed that when I did, the Photo Shoot module on the front page only shows two columns of pictures in stead of three.

I also noticed that the gaps between left and right, and right and main area in FF or IE are the same. The gaps in Opera are different. The gap between right and main area is larger.

I don’t know why this happens, but I believe this is the cause. In my case it causes the right column to be a bit narrower, and only two thumbnails fit. One solution that was suggested was to make the thumbnails smaller. It helps in Opera, but then does not look good in FF or IE, so it is not realy a solution.

I don’t know if this is only the fault of Opera, or the Ja templates somehow, but for sure something that JA should look into. Opera is not one of the biggest browsers, but still used by thousands of people, and I believe JA advertizes that their templates are Opera compatible.

I hope you find your answers. I'[ll be following the thread as well.

    Hi sunrise
Thanks a lot for your answer.
It seems that something is wrong with the browsers that are based on IE.
Opera and IE have similar behavour and I think this behavour appears only if you mess around with the template, because initially it was fine.
IE8 beta has a problem also. It works correctly only in compatibility mode.
Which makes me wonder. Is it the browsers or the templates incompatible?
And just because Opera is a very small percentance I don’t worry so much, but it doesn’t mean that the problem is not out there.
I have used other templates in the past without any compatibility problem.
