I have noticed a module position problem in IE7 or IE8 (in switched off compatibility mode).
1.) On Mesolite II I removed the left panel to have the slidehow or an image going full wide.
When I do that the “user8” module (in the demo the Today Blogs) moves below the “user6+7 modules. Whatever I did to correct that via CSS did not resolve the issue. No problems with all
other browsers FF, Opera, Safari and IE8 (compatibility mode).2) I inserted the(hidden) JA-Login from the Nickel template in Mesolite II at the top of the template. I have included the part of Javascript from Nickel template in the Javascript file of Mesolite II to get the blend in and out effect of the login working. It works with all browsers – except IE7 and IE8 (switched off compatibility mode).
Can you please check this.
You can have a look at the test site at: http://joomla.flyer-gestaltung.com
It’s in German – but you find the login button at the top named “Login :: Kundenbereich”.
The misplaced module “user8” is visible when you switch off the IE8 compatibility mode. It’s important to get this resolved as this week I need to work on the template and get this
bugs out of the road.Thank you!
April 19, 2010 at 8:32 am #340755I just wanted to let you know that in IE8 the bug turns up in “compatibility mode” not when “compatibility” is switched off. “Compatibility mode” I believe is standardly activated when a regular user opens IE8.

I saw the site looks well. so that i have not a closer look on the issue.
all bugs relate with the template displaying on the IE browser, i often try to find some tips to fix for each specific case
April 21, 2010 at 9:05 am #341062The site works well on all browsers – BUT not on IE7.
I have no problems on IE7 or IE8 (compatibility mode) on templates not based on the t3 framework.
Please have a closer look cn the issue and help me.Saguaros ModeratorSaguaros

April 26, 2010 at 4:08 pm #341667Thanks for your reply.
It would be great if you could find the bug(s) ASAP!
I myself tried to make some changes to the CSS but was as well unable to get the desired results.
This is why I contacted you. -
