Critical Problem with JA-Highslide Login Only in IE – after upgrade to ja-teline-ll v 1.6

after upgrading to teline ll V 1.6 the login wont accept text input in internet explorer, neither will the search box

I use joomla 1.5.7

I discovered that in Internet Explorer 7 the cursor cannot be placed in the fields in the ‘create account’ dialog. So that’s why registrations are slow!
It works fine in all my other test browsers.

Hello after 2 weeks of terror, i find a solution, i know it is just a tips but for me it function:

In the file index.php in template> ja_teline_ii folder>index.php
about lines 69

I change the word true to false, thats a miracle, now in my home page it is possible to insert text from internet explorer7, but the team have to fix it as soon as possible.

When I enable cache plugin from joomla->plugins I get all the pictures from section and category blog view disapearing(red x‘s) . My site is so slow loading because I can’t use the cache plugin and this is a live scientific site and is frustrating I cannot have a normal-fast loading site. If I use the same website(database and files) on Wamp Server localhost, works perfectly. Hope someone finds a solution for my problem(http://www.joomlart.com/forums/topic/diacritics-error-when-cache-enabled/). Thanks!

Hi Support,

I am getting serious errors using JA Teline and clicking on normal content items.

It seem to time out and although the error code below sometimes specify this “database” error it often states an error directly linked to JA Teline.

Here’s a bug that affects Internet Explorer 6 users (Yes, there are still some of them. Unfortunately, there are many in companies that have limited resources to upgrade machines, or do so only once a year.)

Basically, if I place a video in any story, JA News nicely puts the story on the home page. IE6 can’t handle it and presents the reader with a completely broken layout.

Hello,

You are copying from word etc ? It looks like you have extra html code on your articles that’s why this is happening, try to edit your article (clean the code through notepad++ for example – copy the text in there and paste it back) and the problem will be fixed.
