August 29, 2012 at 5:48 am #180325Dead code,
I have run into problems getting a new registered employee to be able to post a job. I can post the job, however it doesn’t seem to enter it and save it.
Can you advise?
Here is the install: http://www.christianeye.net/jupgrade/work
user: sdoe
pass: sdoe555Or you can create an employee and try to add a job
You still have superuser privileges that I have given recently. PM me if you need me to send these again.
Thanks,
missioneyes

August 29, 2012 at 5:02 pm #465764I’m confused as to what is happening here. I tried to post one and it appears that looking at the table via phpmyadmin, that the job_code, job_type and id were not populated in the table.
I think you’ll understand if you login and try to post a job.
Thanks for your quick help.

August 31, 2012 at 7:12 am #465905Hello missioneyes,
I have just fixed the same issue for other user. Please try to apply this solution for your site and tell me the result

I found a cause of this issue. When you modify ‘id’ field of job table, JB updated this field incorrectly, since auto_increment properly of this field was not added. That’s why, id of job is always zero.
I have update this field again, and post job feature work correctly now.
Please do not update any field thas named as ‘id’. I’ll create an issue in our bug tracker system and fix this issue soon.

–> Please use phpmyadmin tool, and add “AUTO_INCREMENT” properly for id field of job table.
I’m confused as to what is happening here. I tried to post one and it appears that looking at the table via phpmyadmin, that the job_code, job_type and id were not populated in the table.

Did you modify these fields in form customization page? if you did, you need rebuild this field to get it display on form, you can see “Rebuild” and “Revert” link on form field manager page whenever you edit one field.
