    Hello,

I installed Joomla 1.5.7-Teline II v1.6, when I included the time in the “day” script, the time that showed was an hour behind because it did not consider daylight vs standard time in the US

    Actual time zone chosen:

    Eastern US
Example Time shown 10:43 am => it should be 11:43 am because the US is currently still under daylight saving time frame until later in the Fall season when it reverts back to standard time.

It yurned out, the time zone is not working at all. It is still the same time (1 hour different from Eastern US), even if I changed the Time Zone setting.

Right now, I set it at Tokyo time zone where it should be afternoon there in Tokyo, and yet as I view the time, it is stil 241 am which would be the Central Daylight Time (CDT) in the US — not 341 am EDT, if the time script was correct.

    Global Configuration Bossep

administrator => Global Configuration =>(select) Server => change Time Zone

Is there any other place? I think I saw a changelog for this??? Not sure. But, there is no link to a Forum thread, so that I do not know if this was resolved or if reported at all.
