I have an interesting bug now occurring on my JA Social site plastusa.org Basically I have this VERY common extension called attachments and it appends attachments to articles. Next to the attachment link it also puts a little icon. The problem is that one of the JA plugins is taking those icons and putting them in the article (since they are images) rather than where they are supposed to be which is next to the attachment link in the grey box section.

I already talked with the creator of the extension and he stated that his CSS is very well instrumented and that this is an issue with JA and that most likely it affects other extensions as well so they need to fix it.

Any ideas? It looks really bad on my site and I would really appreciate a fix.

    Hi mattlab,

I already checked out your site. Yes. It has a conflict between our template style with your Attachment plugin when your attached icons are regarded as a normal images of created article, not in the same line with attached file link. Actually, It depends on you install 3rd party extension. But we will stand by to help you. Anyway, I have two type of options for you:
    1. Icons is the same line with attached file link in Hompage, BUT, the thumbnail style will look not good (No float, no algin). Then, you have to set these elements in each article.
    2. There is no Icons on Homepage (Feartured article), just in each normal article. But our template style will look awesome as usual.

    Regards,

    Leo
