December 24, 2009 at 7:58 am #147066Some bugs remained in Teline III version 1.4
1. Links in the Member module, Twitter modules are not accessible by Opera 10.x
Look at http://templates.joomlart.com/ja_teline_iii/ and try to create new account.From my observations links which are ABOVE main menu line could be accessed, those on the line or under – are “non-clickable”
2. Contact form, register form etc. Layout is not rendered properly because of absence of <table> and not proper CSS styles
Look at http://templates.joomlart.com/ja_teline_iii/index.php?option=com_contact&view=contact&id=1:name&catid=12:contacts
or
http://templates.joomlart.com/ja_teline_iii/index.php?option=com_user&task=registerWould appreciate very much the bugs to be resolved in the next release.

January 19, 2010 at 5:23 pm #329761Hello,
Both the Registration and Contact forms are a mess! I don’t understand why change something that actually works fine.
I understand some people wanting to get rid of the “evil tables” like so many people seem to think. But honestly, the DIV tags don’t work!!! The tables do!!!
There’s also a major issue in the usersettings plugin or the news2 module (or both) with IE7 – It looks horrible, at lease at my end. I won’t get into it because I already have a post on this:
http://www.joomlart.com/forums/topic/news-2-module-user-settings-plugin-problems-in-ie7/
Please don’t take this as a double post, ’cause it’s not.
I really need to get these resolved.
Is there a way to go to the Joomla default Registration and Contact components? I don’t want to use the ones in this template.
Thank you

The template uses template overrides to change output of default Joomla components and modules.
So you can annihilate this effect by renaming or deleting these overrides in directory html of template.Regards,

Really, the issue with registration form is resolved by JA.
In template.css JA updated
form.user label {
font-weight: bold;
padding-right: 10px;
width: 120px;
float: left;
}
In ADDITION, this problem is actual for login form. So, I updated the code to:
form.user label
form.login_form label {
font-weight: bold;
padding-right: 10px;
width: 120px;
float: left;
}
But is does not resolve the problem with contact form.
AND, the issue with links in top modules in Opera 10.x still needs a solution.

January 20, 2010 at 9:18 pm #329888Thank you for the update, but I decided to remove the contact and registration forms and using the Joomla default ones.
