For myself, actually SEEING the process being done is infinitely more valuable and beneficial than trying to figure out various code fixes and then trying to figure out where the fix needs to be applied. Varien’s screencasts are helpful … though they haven’t posted any new/updated videos in well over a year (for the Community Edition, anyway).
Anyway, just thought some of you might find this as helpful as I have been.
