Hello,
After installing JA T3 Framework Quickstart, some button labels changed in a strange way –> see attached file as example
example : the ” view site” button on top right of the backend site is called ” JGLOBAL_VIEW_SITE”, along with other buttons. Some buttons where initially in french, now in english …
I have uninstalled, JA T3 framework, BT Arise, JA ext manager, JA Typo, JA Blank template
I use Joomla 2.5
Please help

There maybe problem with language file, these English words seems not to be translated to French. Please check the language file you want to use, for example with English, you can go to file: administratorlanguageen-GBen-GB.ini and it’s easy to see this line:
JGLOBAL_VIEW_SITE=”View Site” <<< change to your own word.June 4, 2012 at 10:27 pm #455944Hello Saguaros,
I’ve checked the language files, and found out that the french fr-FR.ini was all in english and the JGLOBAL_VIEW_SITE was not inside. I first replaced the fr-FR.ini file with one from 10 days ago I saved on my hard drive. After that some words came back in french, but others not. I then decided to change the complete fr-FR folder by reloading the old version from my hard drive, same for the english version … result not very good as you can see on the attached screen shots.
As you mentioned the problem certainly comes from languages files, but I do not know how to solve this …
Note that I’ve initially checked the en-GB.ini file and JGLOBAL_VIEW_SITE=”View Site” was there, my problem is that I did not see “View site” (which is OK for me) but “JGLOBAL_VIEW_SITE”My problem came after I loaded the JA T3 Framework Quick start … Is there a link ?

Hello Saguaros,
OK ! 🙂 I have finally loaded a new complete french language pack from joomla.fr, and now everything is back to normal !
Thank you for your comment, it helped me a lot ( I am very new with joomla, and with website designing in general).
Miroslav
