February 17, 2009 at 6:08 am #138220In the images folder and css > colors folder there are two folders, one is Cacbon the other is Carbon… are these duplicates? They seem to be the same. Is this some sort of error or is this meant to be? If this is some sort of error, can I safely delete the Cacbon folders, or are there going to be some files that refer to it because of a typo or something.
I remember when the demo site first went up someone commented that they thought under Styles on the menu Cacbon was a typo and has since been changed to Carbon, which is why I am wondering if these are duplicates and if any files might be pointing at Cacbon because it could become confusing to know which to edit if I want to make any changes in images or css.
Thanks!

February 17, 2009 at 9:46 am #291981All files that are relevant to the carbon theme are located in the carbon folder. Why not trying to simple rename the cacbon folder to #cacbon and you will see if any errors come up. When so you can rename it again, or when not simply delete the folder.
I started the new Eurpean Layback Theme, see avatar, based on the carbon theme, so made changes with this folder. This new theme is stil alpha/beta and some may say, taste is different, that the brown…cacbon…and so on, it is saying here is germany, like also in the us, this brown could be called cacbrown….and a lot of folks love this s”t!

Colors look like it will be nice. I will be modifying some colors and graphics too. Carbon looks easiest for me to try this with.

I made this decision as the main folder for the default theme contains so many images that are used for all styles, and in the others, they are more sorted with only style relevant files, so I looked for the theme that has the cleanest look, as there were no source files when I started, so I rewrote the files directly from the carbon folder.
