December 19, 2011 at 3:47 am #171936How I can make my site work well in iphone with joomla cache is enabled? now If I enable joomla cache my and visited it on desktop comp, my iphone version is broken. and if i visit first with iphone, the desktop version is broken.
I asked for help on JA ticket. but the answer I got is to disable joomla cache and depend on Css & Javascript Compress feature in t3 framework.
but its not enough to make my site loading time fast enough.
and also we need a way to take effects of update in Ja news pro module. now we have to delete cache after updating the site. other wise it does not appear on janews pro.
iam sure in famous news sites they have a way to show updated articles without deleting cache manually,

December 19, 2011 at 11:13 pm #430444is there any developer who can write for us a code in php, to diferentiate between desktop devices and mobile devices. and tell mobile devices to ignore any cache in joomla cache folder.
i think it wont be a difficult task to a php guru.

Issay does your iphone layout show correctly at all? mine is always broken since I updated.

December 21, 2011 at 7:54 pm #430734Joomla cache and T3 framework caching seems to have some compatibility bugs… Now I’m trying to fix (or at least to track down) a bug when JA Tabs content is disappearing (it displays like {jatabs}…{/jatabs} only). I fixed it by switching off the framework caching and relying only on Joomla cache.
I’m using Joomla “file” type caching now. Before it was “memocache”, but something happened on hosting side. So, if I’m not mistaken, memocache was Ok for me.
What type of Joomla cache processor do you use?
December 22, 2011 at 1:21 am #430759I’m using “Conservative Caching” and “File” and still have same problem.

Do you have memcache available?December 22, 2011 at 5:58 pm #430875Since the server doesn’t support it, there is no memcache option.
I think the only way to fix the problem is disabling iphone version of the template, right?
I don’t know if somebody is working on this bug.
I have to get up my news site in a few days and I need a real quick solution for this problem.

December 22, 2011 at 6:23 pm #430880You can rely on T3 framework caching, if it supports switching b/w templates, or really set the default template for iphone mode.
My case is vice-versa, I cannot rely on T3, but use only Joomla core file caching..December 22, 2011 at 6:30 pm #430884T3 Framework caching is broken in Teline IV. The images disappear in the cached pages.
File caching is ok but if somebody browse with iPhone, both templates web and iphone get broken.
Do I need to fix the bug by myself? Nobody help?
Caching is very important to me.issay Friendissay

I even submitted a ticket with link to this… terrible that this hasnt been resolved yet, such a simple thing it seems like to fix too.
Others seeing this issue, submit a ticket with this too, hopefully that will help. -
