December 24, 2011 at 5:11 pm #431095TO JA developers team.
please what we are asking for is some thing very imortant in any site.1- can be viewed in desktop and iphone , with core joomla cache enabled. And one does not break other layout.
2- when we update our site with new articles , that must reflect on site date/time with out clearing any cache manually.
3- when we update our site with new articles , that must reflect on JA NEWS PRO module with out clearing any cache manually.now I have to clear cache to appear new articles in news pro. if i delete cache with each new article whats the benefit of cache any way.
THANK YOU n6rej. I hope you will follow this issues with developers. and update us

for #2 turn off the caching of the update module. The very purpose of caching prevents automatic flushing else its not a cache
#3 disable caching for this module, same as #2 above.issay Friendissay

December 28, 2011 at 5:28 am #431522The main issue of this thread has not been answered yet… This thread has even been sent to JA developers + support.
Why is no one at JA resolving this major issue??? Support sais this is not a possible error and they want my ftp/site login info, but I its obviously not a isolated issue. Especially when you have the same problem reported in other threads that have gone unanswered as well.
This is the issue we need figured out how to do:

Possibly, that link is not loading for me… the reply to my support ticket was there is no problem and to provide logins, I am hoping one of the other posters with this issue do that as my site is live already and I have made minor changes to templates so I rather not risk more issues created (like happens whenever I do a ja update). I will try to do backup of the site tonight then will submit that (this obviously is not isolated issue though).

Dev asked that so he can see and try to fix whats going on.

http://support.joomlart.com/index.php?/Tickets/Ticket/View/85366</blockquote>Hey Issay, be sure that you have the joomla cache + ja cache on, I think thats why the dev is not seeing the problem on your test site in the support tix.

December 30, 2011 at 11:05 pm #431955for the life of me I can’t understand why this could be happening since the desktop session and iphone session should be separate processes

December 31, 2011 at 5:10 am #431971Thank you n6rej for caring about this problem. hope you will find a solution.
and here is a post two years ago , but not solved.
http://www.joomlart.com/forums/topic/cache-and-iphone-template/and JA Developer said this: “In this template, we are using the cookie of javascript to save the configuration of template. it is the best for your guests when they view your website. But when you active the cache of joomla, this cache does not read our cookie for checking in the case. It is cause you saw the previous issue.
For the reason, our template is not good if you active the cache of joomla with our template. For the case, you can only active the cache of each module or use a cache extension of third party.”
But I think every joomla template should be compatible with joomla core features. isnt it? Joomla made the core cache feture for an obvious reason. so our template has to be compatible with it OR bring a better solution.
Joomla core cache cache every thing , every module, language .ini files, and viewd pages. T3 does not do all that.
I think , joomlart guys know all about joomla, in a same level joomla corders. so please find a solution. for this . and here it is a link may be will guide for this .
