JA developers, can you provide something like the ext above that separates the iphone/mobile cache and the desktop cache?

Nah I am not sending a request for a working template that is compatible with Joomla core cache. Should be a given.

has nothing to do with “being compatible with joomla core cache”. Our cache works with J! core. your iphone/mobile separation is a totally separate issue.

@issay dev says to disable joomla cache but I’m going to pass on this info cause I thought this was resolved.

Same problem here! with JA_Bistro template.
After choose iPhone layout i can’t see my desktop layout again, even after clean template cache.
Joomla cache is always disable and enable development mode is set to yes.

This is not the JA_Bistro forum but here goes some more information about the problem:
(I never change any layout or theme, i just choose iphone option in cpanel – frontend)

    JA_Bistro 1.1.0 August 2011
    Desktop Layout: default
    Iphone Layout: disable
    Handheld Layout: disable
    Theme Settings: default

You can have a look at the page.
    http://www.pingodemel.com

or directly at (in cpanel menu choose iphone):
    http://www.joomlart.com/demo/#joomla17-templates.joomlart.com/ja_bistro

Maybe it’s not a bug/error, maybe is missing me something!!!

    Thank you for your help.

are you referring to the fact that once you choose iphone you can’t go back to “desktop” version?

I can’t go back to desktop version.

ok, I saw that same thing, its a browser issue… now, what would be helpful is if the cpanel was able to be “reset” … in mobile. It’s a cookie that is stored locally not something on the server. because clearing the browser cache resolved it.

    Thank you.
Clear the cookies is the possible solution!!!
