November 12, 2011 at 10:16 am #170636I have all the latest updates. j1.7.2 teline iv.
-After turning off Developer Mode and enabling cache in the T3 teline template admin….
When I add a new article it only shows on the category page. No where else..even after clearing t3 cache it does NOT show in some of the modules JANEWSPRO within the time set on the modules! ONLY UNTIL I edit/re-save the MODULE itself…. whats up with that? yes I have set the module to 1 minute cache, even tried caching off i think.
-How long is that t3 cached for?? and why is the modules not going by the time in the modules cache parameter setting?
PLEASE help, I saw similar thread from weeks ago with no support received.

</blockquote>The one in your image has never been turned on… when i turn on the t3 dev mode + turn off the cache in the teline template and click the empty cache then everything always show…
But the site is super slow that way.there is something wrong with this t3 cache’ing for sure… i especially dont understand why the module cache does not go with the time set in the module cache paramater… and i dont know how long the main t3 cache takes to reload.

November 14, 2011 at 6:45 am #424536Hi,
I am not exactly sure why that can happen as I havent come across the issue you are stating. But I would suggest you try to exclude the particular module from being cached using a param in template Global tab.
Hope that will help.

November 16, 2011 at 6:59 am #424841There is a issue with the T3 cache..
-Even the date on the site doesnt update until I clear cache.
-JAnews pro Linear and some other modules sometimes only update when I edit/resave the module itself. And if a module updates without being edited, its because there is no cache on that. But even that on some doesnt work.-Another thing is, If i visit the site then come back in say 5 hours later, after there has been new articles posted. I dont see them on the site or any updates until I clear my browser cache.
When you visit other sites like time.com etc you can see the new changes without clearing your cache… I cant expect visitors of my site to clear their cache.himangi Friendhimangi

November 16, 2011 at 8:11 am #424850Hi,
Can you try using http://extensions.joomla.org/extensions/site-management/cache/9495 With this extension you will be able to clear the whole site cache with one click. Meanwhile I will try to find if anyone else has reported T3 cache issue and any updates related to the same.
