    When an article or module is updated ………
    It takes 30 mins to update in the site….
    The cache has been disabled in the global configuration..
    Can anyone assist ….

    It’s actually not a Joomla! issue…rather a browser issue.

    What browser are you using to view the update?

    When you make a change, and to view them immediately, you should clear your browser’s cashe and in some cases cookies (i.e. Google Calendar) in order to see the changes.

    We are using ie7 and mozilla 3.0.3
    Tried refreshing the browser history , cookies ,etc but still the site takes a long time to update.

    Anbarasan, usually this problem is related to Browser cache issues. I work with FF,Chrome,Safari and IE7 in one machine and I’ve noticed that sometimes for instance, IE doesnt update but when I launch Chrome, it works just fine.

    Now, Just to doublecheck, have you seen if someone else outside your network (an msn friend for instance) can see the changes reflected as soon as you publish them?

    I have worked in the same server from my house from a different ISP , but I still have the same problem.
