I am trying to determine the best cache setting for our 1.7, JAT3, TelineIV website.

We have a number of people posting articles, and I would like them to appear instantly. At the same time we would like to have the site show as quickly as possible, and therefore would like to use the cache when possible.

What is the best way to set up the cache? How can I make sure it does not cache articles, but has it for modules, images, etc, to have the site load as quickly as possible?

    Thanks,

    Ken

Well on that case i would suggest server side cache, because on any other way i think it’s not easy ( or even possible ) to have articles appear instantly! ( unless the site admin clears cache every time a new article is posted ).

If I use a standard template joomla, and standard caching joomla, then the new articles and changes in articles appear instantly.
    :/

Yes but with the standard joomla template you are not using the JAT3 framework also, and JAT3 handles the cache.
