Hello,

When I turn the cache on and use template profiles for iPhone and Handheld, the site eventually open on the desktop with the iPhone version (for example). I imagine that when the cache is renewed, someone has accessed via iPhone. Is there any way to let the cache on and use the iPhone profile layout for iPhone users?

I haven’t face this issue before, are you sure that you have “profiles” set the correct way ?
Can you give us a link of your website ?

If I turn specific layout to iPhone AND cache is on, the problem occurs.
My site is http://www.podcastcafebrasil.com.br

I kept pointing all layouts to desktop at this moment.

Can you please try clear your browsers cache ? Your web site is working correctly from my side, i can see the default layout on my browser.

P.S. Also try to see the cookies that your browser has stored as this might also be the issue here.

Hello pascm,

I think not explained well.
At the moment all layouts are pointing to the default. So, I have no error.

If I go to use the specific layouts for iPhone, there is the problem with the cache turned on. If someone accesses the site from an iPhone at a time of renewal of the cache, the next access from a desktop will see the layout for iPhone. And vice versa.

This problem occurs only with the cache turned on.

I have no problem with cookies or browser cache. 🙂

Nothing has changed. When access the site from the iPhone it shows the layout of the desktop.
Already cleared cache and cookies iPhone, without success.

Any other ideas?

I have the same problem. If I enable cache and browsed my site with iphone first, then on desktop my site is broken. and If i browsed my site with tesktop comp first , then my iphone version is broken.

If I disable cach in Global Configuration both version works well . But my site is tooo slow without Global Configuration cache on.

Please check to see if you have template.css under /templates/your_template/css/iphone

You have to enable CSS and JS optimization from template settings and not joomla cache from global configuration.
