Sometimes a cached page tried to load a joined/minified CSS/JS file that no longer exists. I’m seeing a lot of these types of errors in my apache log:

    [Wed Jun 15 18:34:55 2011] File does not exist: /home/esljw/public_html/cache/t3-assets/cssb310d.css, referer: http://www.domain.com/esl-jobs/salaries.html

How can I make sure a cached CSS/JS does not go away when there are pages in the cache that need it?

    Hi sharpdome

Are you sure there isn’t other website manipulate cache folder? You can do experiment in local host as following:
    – Access to your website
    – After it is viewed, go to cache/t3-assets folder and delete all css and js files.
    – Go back your site and refresh, you will see similar issue.
So you must sure that each website have a distinct cache folder.

This is definitely a problem. You need to clear the JAT3 cache, and then the Joomla core cache, and then your browser cache to make sure everything is clear.

Would you give me your site’s account admin & ftp via XPN-982-58557? 🙂

    Hi sharpdome

How long did this problem occur? Maybe, browser client loaded it’s cache when accessing to your site, and it tried to load missed css files.

I’m not sure the exact cause of the problem. It’s happening several times per day. When it happens to me it causes the whole site template to break.

I appreciate your help in finding a solution. 🙂

    Dear sharpdome

We have just released JA T3 v1.2.9. In this version, we fixed some bug related to optimize js/css, so I recommend you upgrade JA T3 plugin in your website, maybe it fixes your problem.
