Hi there, I made this thread and somebody delete it, DONT DO IT, there is another thread related to videos that I started, but from different perspectives, I expect there will be different responses too.

I’m trying to use the Video Module from the Cagox template and I copied all the files from the templatesja_cagoxacmvideo to the templatesja_techzoneacmvideo. I can see the background, the “play” icon and even hear the music in the back, but the pop-up window doesn’t show. Do you know what I might be missing to make it work…?

# In fact you are doing custom work. Please consider work it with 3rd developer
# As far i can understand your issue
– You are using ACM module
– In Cagox template you are using ACM – Video
– And you want to use same this into another template: Techzone

For any module work fine you’ll need work with PHP / HTML – CSS & JS.
Just only do copy would not enough to make it work or also cause js / css conflict.

In general you can’t just copy paste something from another template to another and expect it work well.

I agree, although about 80% of the ACM modules from other templates do work. Any idea how can I ovoid those conflicts, will renaming some of the files help…?

It’s so hard to answer that. You’ll need know root cause of conflict before you can solve it.
