    Hello,

I self-taught Joomla 2.5 to create a personal website, and (best to be honest about my abilities!) I really could do with a bit of advice if anyone has a spare few minutes?

The problem I am having is that I have installed the Mixmaz template on to my site, and all is going really well, the one thing I just cant figure out is how to get my logo in place of the one on the template. I have already uploaded my logo, I have gone into the files and changed the template.css from (..images/logo.png) to my own url, and I have changed the url on the css of the theme I am using on the template too.

I have double and triple checked and wondering if I am just missing something really obvious here? Any help/advice would be appreciated.

    Many thanks
    Mandy

    Hi Mandy,

Yes, you need replace this file templates/ja_mixmaz/images/logo.png or change url in template.css file, clean all cache : Backend >> Site >> Maintenance >> Clear Cache for apply your customizations.

    Hi,

I am still not seeing my logo on my website, however the Mixmaz logo has now vanished, but mine is not replacing it. I have changed the url in css.template and cleared cache. Would anyone be able tell me how to replace the logo.png in file templates? I can access my files and can locate ‘logo.png’ file, however I cant see how to directly replace it, only delete it.
Apologies if this is a bit of a basic question.

    Thanks in advance,
    Mandy

Please post url of your site and disable css compress method in template setting. Then i tell you where you need to edit.

Thanks HeRo, I decided to completely reboot Joomla this morning and wiped my website clean, I have applied the template again, edited the URL and its worked, so I must have done something wrong the first time which has been resolved by starting all over again! Thanks for all your help 🙂 Mandy
