Yes, that’s the one. But there are many more stories in there than just the one that displays. After we installed SH404SEF, they simply disappeared.

I can only see 2 of them from the back end!

    Hi,

Let’s try something else! Please rename your offline/online category to something else just to check what’s going on here! And let me know if that helps !

Okay, my partner renamed that category “Online/Offline9,” but the content still doesn’t show.

Well.. i was thinking of something else! I believe that the words “online” and “offline” causing this!

Try something like “Up and Down” for now.

Nope. That didn’t change anything. BTW, you are correct, there are only two articles for the online/offline category.

Well, Manos, thanks for trying. Hopefully, someone else here has the answer. Unfortunately, the SH404SEF folks have been of zero help in fixing the problem their extension clearly (and now admittedly) causes. Shame.

    Hi,

I can make one more suggestion! You can try to upgrade your joomla installation to 1.6.6 since this is the latest version until Joomla.org dropped the support of J1.6.x and moved to J1.7.x

( you can create a backup and try to upgrade all this and also try to install the latest version of JAT3 plugin )
I guess this will be the ultimate test that the problem is sh404sef related and that no other plugin or component is causing this.

So, I just discovered that this problem appears to have something to do with SH404SEF and JCK Content Editor, because I noticed that the content editor disappeared on certain articles after we installed JCK. Consequently, I installed JCE and switched it for my account and went to edit an article I put into the Online-Offline category. The JCE editor was visible on the back end and the article suddenly appeared under Online-Offline on the front end, something that it would not do before (following the installation of SH404SEF). It’s the only article listed in this category: http://marketingtoday.net/online-offline-marketing/

Does this give you or anyone reading this any ideas about what might be at the root of this issue? I’m not sure if I completely solved the problem and will try some additional articles tomorrow (it’s late right now, where I live).

    Thanks for your help.

    Hi,

I can see that if not everything at least most of your problems are solved here! 😎

Well i can’t tell you that your issues are JCK related and if this was the root of this issue but if i can say that you can try to reproduce this on your localhost or on a demo installation!
What i am trying to say here is :

    1. Create a new demo installation
    2. Install JA Teline IV Quick Start Package
    3. Install shs404sef and check that everything works as it should ( i am sure it does )
    4. Start installing 3rd party components – modules and plugins and check that everything works every after you install a new software!

at the end of this process ( yes it takes some time ) you will be able to find out the root to this problem!

( after that you could share if you like the info / result of your test! I would have done that for you but i don’t have all that kind of commercial software you have installed on your site )

    Regards
