There might be some confusion on what I am looking for. Here is the user scenario we are wanting:
1. User lands on our web page with Google map. Plugin enabled JA Google Map.
2. Marker of latitude and longitude plotted on map.
3. User wants directions to this location as identified by marker on map.
4. Field below map allows user to put in their address.
5. Submit or “Go” button connects to Google API.
6. Directions listed turn by turn below map with driving time.
7. User never leaves our website.

Plugin Version:
The download information labels the plugin at version 2.6.0. Downloaded plugin = 2.6.0.
Current version is 2.6.2.

Hi @dw12,

In order to achieve your goal, you will have to customize the plugin in order to get input data outside the map. I’m afraid at the moment the plugin doesn’t support such feature and you will have to hire a developer to customize it for you instead.

We’ve implemented the requested feature with custom code.
For anyone interested, google the specific keywords and there are resources available for code snippets.
