There are some things that I don’t necessarily want to show up in the JA-News section. I’ve tried everything, read all the posts, and must be missing something obvious. I know about the publish/unpublish option, and likewise the front page option. It isn’t the actual headline section, but the JA-News module that I’m referring to.

Right now I have 12 categories showing up in JA News and don’t want any more to be included. I’ll be adding new categories soon, so how do I keep them from appearing, but still have the content searchable to readers and linked in my main menu (“Contents” at the top of the page)?

    Thanks!

    Hi Marlen

In the JA-News module configuration you can see the settings to do it

Just identifies the ID of categories you want to show and then put the ID numbers with a comma, like this 12,3,11,etc

This is the way you can always show only the categories you whant to show

    Best regards

    Hope it helps you
