    Hello.

Few years ago I started site on Ja Elastica and edited lots of CSS (replased some classes, added more).

    Now I have 2 quastion:
    1) can I use CUSTOM.CSS file to keep all customisation in it (I tried to put it to templates/ja_elastica/css and no success).
    2) If yes, will it be the best way to keep CUSTOM.CSS (will it load site a little bit faster). Seems, no?

    Thanks.

you can use custom.css since it override the old css. Make sure you use !important to each css property.

custom.css will not decrease the performance of loading.

    Hi,

    1. Unfortunately, this feature is only available in T3 framework (T3v3). In Elastica which uses T3v2 framework, you will have to update template.css file directly or add custom.css file to folder CSS and call it manually in head.php file.

    2. No, it won’t make your site load faster, implement CSS file this way will just keep your customization stay intact when updating your template.

You can also utilize as an alternative (pre-cursor) to custom.css.
