wanting to know if we added a unique id and have different instances of the module throughout one’s site…of course the frontpage… but say an instance of it for sports…. lifestyle….electronics displaying the different content –sections and categories per page…etc… is this possible –

Yes, it it posible, you can copy task of module manager when it will have different instances of ja news module . You can use them seperate .

From the menu item, i link to section and have all categories in section show as linkable item as shown as in ja news. I will have 60 sections and each one 10 categories.

I see the ja news appear in the front page only. How to make it appear in all 60 menu items ? Do i need to copy ja news 60 times ? But not sure how to create link in menu to a module.
