Hi Everyone,

I use Ja Opal for our church joomla site. http://www.coptnet.com/new
I use Ja Slideshow2 to add some of the events photo which is in high resolution. But you do not see the full image rather you see part of it….my question Can Ja Slideshow 2 (or other recommended plug-in) auto resize the image to 640×300 as it is configured in Ja Slideshow 2 Module…Please advice

JA_slideshow2 does NOT resize pictures…not even the thumbnails.

It really isn’t good style to use a hi-rez pic on the site as it really, REALLY drags down load times. And ESPECIALLY when using them in a slideshow. What some forget is that ALL of the images that will appear in the slideshow are first downloaded into browsers before the first image is displayed. So you want to make the slideshow load as quick as possible.

If you want people to see a hi-rez image…you are better off showing an optimized images on the site…and then using a link to the high-rez image.
