On our JA Wall main page we have posted a video, croned into K2 from our Vimeo channel entitled “Boys VBS Promo”. We have adjusted and adjusted settings to play on the main page correctly. How can we play the video automatically on the main page without having our visitors open the article? Is this possible?

Hi Tom,

Actually, the homepage of your site is displaying the image thumbnail of video, not the video itself. Hence, it’s impossible.

Is there some type of K2 extension or plugin ect that will play the video on JA Walls main page rather than displaying the thumbnail?

Hi Tom,

Look at the demo here if all items in K2 autoplay like as your expectation I don’t think your site can work well. That’s why it’s impossible if you want auto play the video in introtext in JA Wall.

Or if you are developer you have to change all category_item.php files in templates/ja_wall/html/com_k2/ja_wall, ja_wall_blog and ja_wall_showcase folders.

If you want to use a 3rd party extension, you can seek for a suitable one via Joomla Extension Directory.

I think expert guys in K2 forum will have best suggestion on which 3rd party extension play the video in introtext of K2 content.
