April 3, 2009 at 11:26 pm #299932WOW . . . that’s even more than I would have expected. SWEET !!!
Can’t wait to see your solution (especially since I’m using Zeolite too) . 🙂

I can actually script this into the flypage so you would not have to do a separate one for each product. They would automatically be something like…
Tab 1 = Product Description
Tab 2 = More images
Tab 3 = Customer Reviews
Tab 4 = Related products
Tab 5 = Ask A Question
The advantage is that it is automatic. The disadvantage is that you would not have custom fields.Which would you prefer?
PS: I’ve also found a workaround for the ‘stuck on fade effect’ problem.

April 4, 2009 at 2:20 am #299941I basically just want to be able to have the functions in the tabs – and to be able to style the tabs (if possible) to match the theme of the page/site. But if I had to choose the functions I wanted, they would be:
1 – Description
2 – Specifications
3 – Reviews
4 – Ask A Question🙂

The problem is there is no ‘Specifications’ in VM. Unless you know of an extension?

Oh, I was thinking it would just be a field where product specs could be entered – like any description or article or something.
But it’s not a big deal – I suppose that information could go under “Product Details”So, If I had to pick an order for the tabs, it would be:
1 – Product Details
2 – Ask A Question
3 – Customer Reviewsscotty Friendscotty

April 4, 2009 at 3:02 am #299947Yea I can do the 3 of them. I was having a problem with ‘Related products’. The tab works fine unless there is actually a product to display and then it doesn’t display at all . So just as well your not looking for that one.
I thought VM had a multi-image feature? I guess not.
That’s is for tonight. Back tomorrow.

April 4, 2009 at 8:37 pm #300065Don’t be getting too excited! Lots of problems with parsing some of the VM funtions like I can show reviews but can’t add them and I can’t get the ‘Ask a question’ form to appear.
So still very much a work in progress but we’ll get there.
Didn’t get much done today with it either but here’s a sample.

April 5, 2009 at 12:14 pm #300131Very sorry. I was working locally and uploaded to remote to show you sample but there is more to moving virtuemart than I thought. The link you were clicking was to the live location but VM was calling the product from the local location.
Anyway CLICK HERE!
Due to problems at home (our new puppy has Parvo) I probably won’t get anything done with this today. Sorry

April 5, 2009 at 3:26 pm #300141It’s looking good . . . I was not even thinking about all of the special effects you have (i.e. the sliding effect). Again, I was basically thinking of just a click –> info effect . .. just like the effect in the example template I referenced in my PM to you.

Ohh! This is much much easier to incorporate! Only involves adding a little JS script, some styling, and changing around the flypage.
I’ve incorporated it into the demo. I’ll style it properly tomorrow.
PS: Puppy is still alive but not looking good. On IV drip and it’s 50:50
