I am using the Ja SLideshow Lite on a site I am building and my client asked me if I could make it slide automatically.

Good question. I assumed this was a feature since by default almost every slideshow on Joomlart had that ability. But I cannot find an easy way to implement this.

    is it possible?

If not possible out of the box, how hard would it be to implement?

The strange thing I am seeing in the code is that “Autoplay” and “repeat” are both set to “true” or “1” in several places. Yet, my slideshow doesn’t slide. It seems to be designed to be manually operated.

I even found “Navigation” set to “False” a couple of time, yet my version has two arrows on each side which I presume is the navigation.

I really need to make this work and I’d appreciate any help. Thank you.

    Hi sotjoom2,

There is setting for this feature in backend of this JA Slideshow Lite module: http://easycaptures.com/fs/uploaded/753/5919577128.png

You don’t need to check the code, please check it again.

Thank you. Turns out that in my case the “autoplay” line along with the others were moved and I couldn’t see them. Thst’s what I get for using these “utilities” for the administration.

    Thank you.
