May 2, 2012 at 1:03 pm #176657– i can not any modules to mega, mega1, mega2…mega6 positions. nothing appears in specified mega positions.
i also belive that the current working menu system is css menu. even though mega menu is selected menu in template options.

Do you know where those module positions are located ? also why do you think your menu system is css menu ? could you post here your url ?

– i know the locations form a locally installed quickstart.
– I compared between different menu systems in the quickstart version.
the menu in above url looks like css menu to me but i am not sure.please have a look at link and let me know if the current menu system is CSS or no and why i am not able to place modules next to menu items mega5 for e.g.

That’s mega menu not css menu, you have not any sub-menu items there, please read the wiki for mega menu in here http://wiki.joomlart.com/wiki/JA_T3_Framework_2/Navigation to get a comprehensive understanding about the mega menu system and know how to display a module beside menu items.

the article was very useful.
i want to have icons only for menu items.when i select an image for “link type option” and set “add menu title” to No.
image and text disappears from the menu.

That’s strange, if your jat3 system plugin is an old version please update it to the latest, you can also try to add below css to the templates/your_template/css/template.css file
#ja-megamenu span.has-image span.menu-title{
visibility: hidden;
