    Have a fresh install of joomla 1.5 + purity II and I just activated content-top. I added my module (gk news) and nothing displays. I tried even just adding a plain html module to content-top with some text and nothing is displayed.

    This module works in other fields (user1, right, etc), unsure why it will not display in the main area.

    I didn’t find such a position in a default installation of JA Purity. Default positions are:

    <positions>
    <position>hornav</position>
    <position>breadcrumbs</position>
    <position>banner</position>
    <position>left</position>
    <position>right</position>
    <position>top</position>
    <position>user1</position>
    <position>user2</position>
    <position>user3</position>
    <position>user4</position>
    <position>user5</position>
    <position>footer</position>
    <position>syndicate</position>
    <position>debug</position>
    </positions>

    You have to add it by going into <template>/layouts and editing the correct php file and then adding it to your templateDetails.xml, then it becomes active.

    Solved, I had added it to a layout that was not currently my default one 🙁
