    Hello Guys,

I am new in this joomlart forum. Today I bought and tried to install the JA social template but for some reason I couldnt. I even read some documentation and forum discussions but It doesnt work =(. I want to note that the Jooma version 3.1 is already installed on my website. Normally with other templates such as Themeforest and Yoothemes I used to locate the template zip file and install them in the Joomla backend, from this point the next steps are to structure the Website content. Anyway, here I explained what I have done so far.

1.- Downloaded all the JA social files
2.- Unzipped the files and installed one by one as the documentation explains (http://www.joomlart.com/documentation/other/make-a-site-as-demo)
3.- Trying to install the JA template but I dont find it in my template list of my joomla backend.

My goal is to make my website like the demo version, so I even installed the quickstart zip file in the backend of Joomla but it did not work.(http://www.joomlart.com/documentation/other/make-a-site-as-demo)

    Could you help me ?

    Thank you !!

    Hi

If you have already Joomla Core installed you need to install only the Ja_Social template file downloading it from here and using the Joomla extensions manager >> Install feature

After installed the template and also installed and enabled the T3 Plugin from HERE

You can set your website as showed in this USERGUIDE installing modules and plugins as requested

The quickstart version install Joomla core plus the template so it’s not the best choice for already active websites

    Hello Pavit

Thank you for you quick response, however I can not install the template. I tried several times but there is an installation error. My Joomla version is 3.1 so I believe that the mistake is that this JA social zip file is for Joomla 2.5 or 3 because I have installed other extensions through Joomla Manager and it works perfectly. In fact when I downloaded the complete Ja social files package from this template, the file name was joomla_2.5_, but the weird thing is that before downloading the template file, it says that it works for Joomla 3.1 and so it shows at the demo template site. Anyway, I even tried to copy and install the template files via FTP but unfortunately I have no success. Here you find some screenshoots. If Joomla version is not the problem , what else can do you suggest me to do?

    Thank you !

    Hi

Did you tried your settings for the php max upload file size directive in your system information ?

Maybe you cannot upload files larger than 2 Mb
