After “fixing” the problem with the database, I can not log in as a user nor to my administration panel.

I use J 1.5 and so far, I have done the following:

1- I changed the password in the database
2- I created another super administrator in the data base
3- I tried to create an user account in the front end of my site (libroalibro.org), with no success.

What could be causing the problem?

What happens when you try to log in at the administrator panel?

The page reloads showing again the user name / password fields.

Call you host and ask them to make the session save path writeable, or fix it.

First i would have checked with them that this was ok before i started to investigate more.

I registered at your site(atleast i think i did), what does this message means?
Bienvenido a la sección de usuarios de nuestro sitio web

“Welcome to the user section of our web site”…But I’m more than sure that you did not receive the confirmation email to your inbox. Can you check that for me?

The host asked me to include a “var” in the config file and now I have the following:
<blockquote>Warning: session_start() [function.session-start]: Cannot send session cache limiter – headers already sent (output started at /hsphere/local/home/anaiveli/revista.libroalibro.org/configuration.php:1) in /hsphere/local/home/anaiveli/revista.libroalibro.org/libraries/joomla/session/session.php on line 407

I had the same problem a couple of days ago, but I managed to solve it by using this admin password recovery process.
If you have access to PHPMyAdmin, you can do it easily.
Here is a good description of how to solve the problem

If you have any questions, let me know.

    Now I have two problems:

1- The listed above with a Warning in my page
2- The password for the back end.

    I’ll try your recommendation.
