May 17, 2008 at 2:42 pm #249548What webserver is your site hosted on? Apache? IIS?
May 17, 2008 at 3:09 pm #249549It is Unix with Sql Server – PHP 4 … I hope that is what you are looking for?????
May 17, 2008 at 9:05 pm #249557Make sure your videos are stored in root/images/stories/videos.
May 17, 2008 at 11:48 pm #249566I really don’t know which folder is the “root” folder .. I ftp files up using Dreamweaver ..I loaded the Quickstart files into a folder on the server named /html… I was able to install Joomla from the browser and install sample files… Since your post I have logged in to the server above the html folder by not enetering anything in the folder field in Dramweaver. I up loaded the folder images/stories/videos here.. So I am thinking I now have the same structure of files in my html folder as well as my root folder but I did not install Joomla in what I think is the Root folder / ..instead they are in the /html folder…
How do I know where the root folder is on the server? I can login thru the control panel and I have an option there of changeing the root foler…. The only choices are / or the domain name????
Thank you for any help I can get.. I am getting frustrated with these templates!!!!:confused::confused:
May 17, 2008 at 11:50 pm #249567By the way I host on a UNIX with PHP 4 .. I have an option to upgrade to PHP 5 and the data base is on a Sql Server..
May 18, 2008 at 12:12 am #249569It’s simply the folder of your Joomla installation. If you were to look at it from a website point of view: http://www.domain.com/images/stories/videos/

May 18, 2008 at 1:45 am #249573Why are you using Dreamweaver with a Joomla template? I think you should use the QuickStart package and forget about Dreamweaver. I think all your problems lie with trying to use it. These templates weren’t designed for use with FrontPage, Dreamweaver and the like.
May 18, 2008 at 2:29 am #249577I only use Dreamweaver to upload files… Is that bad???? I actually uploaded the unzipped Quickstart files using Dreamweaver…
I have tried everything I know to do and i still can not get the Video to play…
My global setting for images is: images/stories
and for media is is: imagesin the plugin AllVediosReloaded:
Video folder = Videos
Audio folder = audioHELP!!!
