Well Ive cleared the cash and seems that Chinese one still has no line or patters. English has no pattern.

If patters is on but I would like to have line on both.

I believe it should work for now with “updated template”.
But it’s not good to upgrade template since we’r not 100% managed all template files 🙂

Could the changes youve made have affected language switch, coz it doesnt seem to work.

Hi there,
In basic they should not. Because language switch is managed by Joomla! component / plugin not by template.
But it would caused because configuration. If you assigned different profiles , configuration of template for each language menu.
In another word: Source code are same but configuration different.

having a nightmare with it now. The template the same but I can not get the two languages to swith properly. Sorry for piling up jobs for you. Would you have a chance to look and set Chinese as home page with English being secondary language?

Ive noticed that at the top of Chinese version there is no line underneath the menu as there is one in the English one.

Would you please look into this too.

# English version: It’s wrapped by div with class


site-slogan hidden-phone animate-text inview

And .site-slogan have css for border-top. That’s why you saw “line underneath”

But for Chinese version: We have no this div wrapped.
I guess because you’r using different module assigned for each language version. If you still can’t work on it, than you still can apply css also


#ja-content-mass-top .ja-masshead-wrap .custom .eds-on-scroll {
border-top: 1px solid #33b5dc
}
#ja-content-mass-top .ja-masshead-wrap .custom .site-slogan .eds-on-scroll {
border-top: none;
}

Please refence with screenshot to understand about this css concept.
First code applied border-top, but second code is remove it for English version ( because it’s already wrapped by .site-slogan as mentioned before ).

But i would suggest you double check this module before go this way.
