First off, my url is http://www.nypdmo.com
Second as you can see from the logo on the top, its light green. I want to make it just like the rest of the background. I’m new to joomla and here’s what I did with the header in template.css
/* HEADER
——————————————————— */
#ja-headerwrap {
background: url(../images/) repeat-x top white;
color: #black;
line-height: normal;
height: 260px;
}
#ja-header {
position: relative;
height: 272px;
}
#ja-header a {
color: #black;
}
h1.logo, h1.logo-text {
margin: 0 0 0 5px;
padding: 0;
font-size: 200%;
text-transform: uppercase;
}
h1.logo a {
width: 1024px;
display: block;
background: url(../images/logo.png) no-repeat;
position: absolute;
height: 277px;
bottom: -7px;
left: 0px;
}
h1.logo a span {
position: absolute;
top: -1000px;
}
h1.logo-text a {
color: #black !important;
text-decoration: none;
outline: none;
position: absolute;
bottom: 70px;
left: 5px;
letter-spacing: 1px;
}
p.site-slogan {
margin: 0;
padding: 2px 5px;
color: white;
font-size: 100%;
position: absolute;
bottom: 50px;
left: 0;
}
If anyone can help. I’d really appreciate it. Also, can anyone tell me how I can add a little boarder around the articles? Thanks.

September 18, 2008 at 6:21 am #271109Not quite sure what you mean with hte logo, the logo looks blue and green to me.
September 18, 2008 at 8:57 am #271129The logo I want to keep starts at the home tab and ends at the search box. The light green color after that was part of the old logo that was on top. How do I get rid of the default logo background that comes with the template?

September 18, 2008 at 9:44 am #271140Take a look in the css file for this file name: header-bg.gif and relace it with what you want.
