Hi there,

I’ve been looking at the Uber demo site today and I have noticed that it’s missing the 3 new layouts landing, medicare, bookstore can these be added to the demo site?

Also the new ACM blocks and styles are missing from the demo site and also could you put like a badge or something to say “new style” or “new block” so that people can see what’s new?

I’m not surprised that people have been moaning because when you say you released Uber 2.1.0 but the demo shows us nothing, it looks like nothing has changed. This could also be the reason for all the negativity about the updates to Uber, because they look at demo and nothing has changed and there is no easy to see changelog on the “more info” page.

Please could we get the demo and docs updated as soon as possible because it also comes in handy for helping me to choose which style blocks I need.

Perhaps a screenshot or mock-up of what you are trying to accomplish would be of help to us. I shall help you out once I get to know your issue.

Where is “bookstore”, “landing” etc???

My point is this, you get bad feedback when you release the update of Uber. I know understand why, because people have no way of seeing what is new, the demo site is not updated and thus people don’t see any new changes and moan, quite rightly!

So what I am asking, is that you update the Uber demo to show all the new themes, blocks etc. I also think the new themes, blocks, styles need a “new” badge on them so people can easily distinguish between the new and old.

I understand what you are expecting but I’m afraid you can only run with template style by default and can’t have all sample data of all template styles on your site.

You can go Admin site -> Extensions -> JoomlArt Installer tab and select to install desired template style you wanna use.

We’ve got crossed wires here, completely! I do not wish to install demo styles on my site!!!

I want you to update this site http://www.joomlart.com/demo/#uber with the above!!!

The demo http://www.joomlart.com/demo/#uber is missing all of the new blocks and styles and themes, then when people are moaning it’s because the demo looks exactly the same as the old one with nothing new.

You also need to put a badge on all the new stuff with “new” so people can easily see on http://www.joomlart.com/demo/#uber what has changed with the update. Last time you updated Uber people moaned in the forums and this is the reason why, because you didn’t update the demo.

The first thing I do every time there is a new template is hit the “live demo” button and check it out, so when you re-released Uber and everyone checked out the demo, there was nothing new on it. So quite rightly everyone moaned about it saying there is nothing new!!!

Get the demo up to date please!

That’s great for step one, but it’s not sample data I wanted you to update.

Now for step 2 you need to update http://www.joomlart.com/demo/#uber to include all the new styles, blocks etc.

If you go to http://www.joomlart.com/demo/#uber you will notice there is no “menu” block and the “restaurant” and “bookstore” and “landing” template/themes are missing from the main menu. Do you understand what I mean?

See the menu at http://www.joomlart.com/demo/#uber looks like

Which is missing “landing”, “bookstore” and “medicare”

Then look at the menu http://www.joomlart.com/demo/#uber

It is missing the “menu”, “spotlight” and other blocks

Do you understand what I’m asking for here?

Uber demo has been installed but you can not see all templates and blocks under Sites and Blocks menus because we only add some items under menu and not add more them on that, but you can see all them from here
