Can we define the whole Joomla tree (admin, modules, plug-ins, images etc) in this component to serve them via Amazon S3?

Hello mate,

yes, you can put whole joomla site to Amazon S3.

Note: please enable option ‘apply to admin’ on plugin configuration page to get it work with back-end.

Are you serious about this? I thought that with this component we can save only multimedia files. If this is true i will определено try it

Hello mate,

Sorry, I mistaken about your question.
You can upload anything to amazon s3, but s3 is only storage service so that your server side code file will not be executed.
If you want to deploy your application on amazon server, you can check a ‘Amazon EC2’ service.

Does this contradict the following? What does drarvindc mean by saying “put the whole site root onto the s3 bucket”?

Hello mate,

When dravindc says “put the whole site root onto the s3 bucket”, It means that you can put all static files on any folder of Joomla site to S3, included administrator, libraries, …
