If you use category view and have more than 1 column… that will stay fixed and wont be responsive unless you edit the individual CSS files for each layout and give a certain width to the k2 category block.

Ilet,

I’m not sure I understand your question. Are you wanting to know whether you can decide for some columns to remain locked while others stay responsive? If so, the answer is not in the template as written. This is a fully responsive template in every way – menus, content, images.

You would need to contract with a developer for such dramatic custom work. – Joomlancers, for instance.
