I cannot seem to add a image caption! This is very important for me to be able to add this under a photo.

I use the Joomla Default Editor Tiny MCE, then after I insert the image into an article I select it and click the editor image icon and then add in my description but it doesn’t show after saving.

The description you are filling out is not meant to be seen with the image, that gets displayed only when the image path you have specified doesnt lead to any image.

To put some caption with the image, you can upload the image in stories folder via media manager and then use the IMAGE button you see below the textbox when you create an article. There you can choose to display the title as caption..

Hope I am clear enough and you will be able to set it like I said. 🙂

Hi Himangi,
I tried that already and it doesn’t work. Do you have your Editor set in Extended mode? Anyone else out there having the same problem?
